ELIZABETH H. JOYNER

Elizabeth Harmon Joyner, 83, of the 1000 block of Melvin Drive, died Dec. 24, 1995.

Mrs. Joyner, the widow of of Garland Linwood Joyner Sr., was a native of Portsmouth. She was retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station. Mrs. Joyner was a member of Cradock United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Williams of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, Beth Long, Rod Williams, and Christy Williams; three great-grandchildren, Trinity Long, Shawn Williams, and J.D. Williams. She was predeceased by a son, Garland Linwood Joyner Jr., and a sister, Gladys H. Keever.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, by the Rev. S.B. Robbins and the Rev. Robert F. Cofield Jr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
