STILLMAN NEW HEAD OF REGIONAL CHAMBER NOW CHAIRMAN, HE FORMERLY LED THE VIRGINIA BEACH SCHOOL BOARD.

Gregory N. Stillman of Virginia Beach has assumed the office of chairman of the board of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce for 1996.

Stillman is managing partner of Hunton & Williams law firm in Norfolk.

Other officials are Robert J. Keogh, chairman-elect, and Betsy N. Mason, treasurer.

Stillman, former chairman of the Virginia Beach School Board, has recently served as vice chairman for regional education with the chamber and was instrumental in implementing the chamber's Hampton Roads Education Leadership Academy. The program trains educators and administrators to become better site-based managers.

Keogh is president of Heritage Bank and Trust. He also has served as the Norfolk division chairman and most recently as chairman for governmental affairs for the chamber.

Mason is vice president of sales for Goodman Segar Hogan Hoffler. She served in 1995 as the chamber's vice chairman of communications and marketing. Mason also previously served as vice chairman for small business services and chairman of the Norfolk division.

The Virginia Beach division of the regional chamber also has installed its 1996 officers. C. Grigsby Scifres, with Clark and Stant, was appointed chairman of the board.
