Wayne E. Taylor, 66, died Dec. 23, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Taylor was born in Mathews, Va., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William M. Taylor, and was the widower of Peggy B. Taylor. He was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and architect in the Richmond area. A former partner in the Carlton, Taylor, and Clark Architectural Firm, he retired from the firm of Wright, Jones, and Wilkerson. Mr. Taylor was a master mason in the Mathews Oriental Lodge 0020 and attended Shady Grove Methodist Church.
He is survived by a brother, H. Finley Hatch of Virginia Beach; an aunt, Mrs. Mary T. Taylor of Mathews; four nephews; and a niece.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in West-Simmons Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit until 11 a.m Thursday. Interment will be in Greenville Memorial Garden, Emporia, Va., at 2 p.m. Thursday.
