VIRGINIA H. BELL

Virginia Harper Hall Bell, 64, of the 2500 block of Woodshire Circle, died Dec. 25, 1995.

Mrs. Bell, a retired teller from Virginia National Bank, was a native of South Norfolk. She was a member of Laurel Avenue Church of Christ, Chesapeake.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Hall Bess of Camden, N.C., Sandra Hall Salyers of Zuni, Va., and Janet Hall Costell of Suffolk; her mother, Iola B. Harper of Chesapeake; a sister, Marjorie Dalzell of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Raymond L. Harper of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Jill Miller of Virginia Beach, Kristy Salyers of Zuni, and Stacey and Amy Costell, both of Suffolk. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Hall Jr.; her father, Jesse William Harper Sr.; and her brother, Jesse William Harper Jr. Mrs. Bell is also survived by her former husband, Jesse C. Bell of Chesapeake.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Riverside Memorial Park by Pastor Rupert Wallace. The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at 428 Clemson Ave., Chesapeake at all other times.
