William Hall White Sr., 64, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1995, in his home.
He was a native of Norfolk and the son of the late Mabel Hall and Harvey E. White Sr. Mr. White was a retired electrical engineer having worked in the Silicon Valley of California for more than 25 years. In his youth he had attended Norfolk Academy. He was a member of the Ruth Masonic Lodge (NU)89.
He is survived by two sons, William Hall White Jr. and Gary Edward White both of Livermore, Calif.; a brother, Harvey E. White Jr. of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and a close friend, Deloris Crowthers.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Dec. 29, 1995, at 11 a.m. in the Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery by Pastor Frank T. Jennings. Memorial contributions may be made to the Knotts Island United Methodist Church or to the Masonic Home of Virginia, 4101 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, Va. 23223. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
