Norma B. Grissom, 76, of the 5000 block of Bardith Circle, died Dec. 26, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Grissom was a retired secretary from Christ The King Catholic School. She was a native of Norfolk and a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Norfolk for more than 40 years.
Survivors include her husband, H. Thomas Grissom Jr.; two daughters, Mary G. Keogh of Norfolk and Carole G. Cowling of Virginia Beach; a son, Richard W. Grissom of Norfolk; two sisters, Evelyn Butler of Norfolk and Olive Ford of Knoxville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Robin Phillips Grissom, Amy Kanter, Jennifer and Mark Grissom, Emily and Leigh Keogh, Caitlin Cowling; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 1995, in Christ The King Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph P. Lehman. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Christian Wake service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel. The family will receive friends following the Wake service. Memorial donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association or Christ The King Catholic Church Building Fund.
