VERNICE M. WOODHOUSE

Vernice M. Woodhouse, of the 2200 block of Courtney Ave., died Dec. 25, 1995, in her residence.

She was retired from the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. She was a native of Norfolk and a member of St. Marks Community Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Gwendolyn McNeil, Mildred Flemmings and Laverne T. Alebios, all of Norfolk; two sons, James L. Talley and Preston M. Reynolds, both of Norfolk; a brother, Vernon L. Talley of Sterling, Va.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a best friend, Annie White; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at at 1:30 p.m. Friday in St. Marks Community Baptist Church by the Rev. E. Phillips. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home in charge.
