William Claiborne Card, 75, of the 1200 block of Cypress Ave., died Dec. 24, 1995, in Sentara Nursing, Norfolk.
Mr. Card, a retired state employee of the ABC Board and retired grocery store employee, worked for the State of Virginia and Colonial Stores for 40 years. He was a native of Durham, N.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice Barnes of Norfolk; a son, William Claiborne Card of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Mildred Conway of California, Gladys Luquire and Edna Russo, both of Georgia. He was predeceased by his parents, Alice Raspberry and Arthur Spencer Card.
The body was cremated. The family will receive friends at the residence of Margaret Geiger in the 1300 block of Lauriel Cove Circle, Virginia Beach, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
