GLADYS H. ANDERSON

Gladys Hundley Anderson, 80, died Dec. 25, 1995, at Maryview Medical Center.

Mrs. Anderson was born Oct. 7, 1915, the daughter of the late Carey E. and Ethel B. Hundley. She was a member of Westhaven Baptist Church.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by three children, Janie A. Creech of Portsmouth, Thomas N. Anderson Jr. of Chesapeake, and Louis C. ``Rabbit'' Anderson of Portsmouth; a sister, Ella Mae Leitner; two brothers, Edward M. Hundley and Lowry L. Hundley; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilber B. Hundley, Arthur W. Hundley and John L. Hundley.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 1995, in Westhaven Baptist Church by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., and at other times at 1911 Lisbon Drive, Chesapeake. Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Westhaven Baptist Church.
