Mildred Lee Wood, 75, died Dec. 26, 1995, in DePaul Hospital.
Mrs. Wood was retired from Sovran Bank after 29 years of service.
She was the beloved wife of 56 years of Ernest E. Wood. Other survivors include a daughter, Sandra W. Parsons of Norfolk; a brother, Joseph Edward Lee of Tabb, Va.; a grandson, Scott E. Parsons and his wife, Stacey, of Chesapeake; two great-grandchildren, Sara Melinda, age 5, and Spenser Charles, age 3, both of Chesapeake. She also had several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
