John Paul Zimmermann Sr., 41, of the 4500 block of Bankhead Circle, died Dec. 24, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Zimmermann, a carpenter, was a native of Fall River, Mass.
Survivors include a daughter, Heather Zimmermann of Norfolk; two sons, John Zimmermann Jr. and Carl Zimmermann, both of Portsmouth; three sisters, Jeanne Brooks and Lucille Salimeier, both of Tampa, Fla., Rita Forbes of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Joseph Fournier of Philadelphia, Philippe Fournier of Norfolk; two nephews, David Jones of Norfolk, Michael Forbes of Virginia Beach.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church by Father Paschal Kneip. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
