Nicky Dean Driggers, 34, of the 5200 block of Sharon Drive, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1995, in his residence.
He was a chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy stationed upon the U.S.S. Ramage. He served in the U.S. Navy for 15 years. Mr. Driggers was preceded in death by his father, Billy Dean Driggers and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Marie Driggers of Virginia Beach; his mother, T. Ann Sparks of El Paso, Texas; daughter, Ciarra M. Driggers of Virginia Beach; and one sister, Charise Armstrong of Houston, Texas.
Services will be held at Twiford Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, with full military honors. The family will receive friends at Twiford Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, today from 4 to 6 p.m. and also from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service.
