REX RAYMOND FOX

Rex Raymond Fox, 73, of 536 Fishermans Bend, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 1995, in his residence.

A native of Malheur County, Ore., he had lived in Virginia Beach since 1960. He was the husband of Dorothy Meinhart Fox. He retired after 23 years with the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. In 1985, he retired after 20 years as coordinator tester in the Virginia Beach School System.

In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he is survived by one daughter, Sharon F. Gamble of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; two sons, Gregory P. Fox of New Smyrna Beach, and Geoffrey P. Fox of San Diego, Calif.; and one granddaughter, Anastasia Marie Gamble.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 30, 1995, at 2:30 p.m. in Blessed Sacrament Chapel at Oceana Naval Air Station. The family will receive friends after the service.
