THOMAS L. JOYNER

Thomas Lillie Joyner died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 1995, in Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Lillie was the daughter of the late John Henry and Mary Harrell Joyner of Corapeake, N.C.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Leona Thomas of Detroit, Mich.; sister-in-law, Mrs. Ethel Joyner of Portsmouth; two aunts, Mrs. Henritta Berrien of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Iris Brinkley of Portsmouth; two uncles Edward Harrell of Corapeake and Rodrick Harrell of Greenville, N.C.; and a very special friend, Dave Britton of Boston; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church, Corapeake, with the Rev. Stanley Wiggins presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Tabitha Harrell of Sunbury, N.C. Creecy and Creecy Funeral Home of Gatesville, N.C., will be in charge of the arrangements.
