Helen Zucchero Scanlan, 72, died Dec. 28, 1995 in Heritage Hall.
She was a native of Chicago and was the daughter of the late Michael A. and Clementina Gentile Zucchero. She was a Presbyterian and a member of the Women of the Exmore Moose Lodge (NU)1349.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Lee Scanlan; daughter, Patricia S. Schoonover of Elkins, W.Va.; son, Michael Lee Scanlan of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Josephine Z. Regiro and Margie Benson, both of Chicago; brother, William Zucchero of Salmon, Idaho; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Warren Lee Scanlan Jr.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore, by the Rev. James R. Keezel. Burial is in Belle Haven Cemetery. The family will join friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
