Virginia Thorne Sartain, 76, died Dec. 27, 1995, in a local hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Eugene L. Sartain of Chesapeake, Edward V. Sartain of Norfolk; two sisters, Bernice Holt of Virginia Beach and Myrtle Smith of Florida; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted today at 10 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Will Kiser-Lowrance. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
