Martha Thelma Jones, 92, formerly of Norfolk, died Dec. 27, 1995, in Salem, Va., at Richfield Nursing Center.
She is survived by a brother, the Rev. Dr. George Wesley Jones of Vinton; two nephews, Ronnie L. Jones of Norfolk, and David A. Jones of Charlotte, N.C.; a niece, Carolyn J. Nelson of Charlotte; and a great-nephew and great-niece, Allen and Jodie Nelson of Charlotte.
Miss Jones was a retired employee of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, to Zion Grace United Methodist Church, of which she was a lifelong member, for the funeral to be conducted by the Rev. Charles W. Hubbard at 3 p.m. today. The body will be in the church an hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Zion Grace United Methodist Church, 1440 W. Little Creek Road, Norfolk, Va. 23505 or to the Lydia Roper Home, 127 E. 40th St., Norfolk, Va. 23504.
