Nancy Cudworth Atkinson, 88, of 2310 Juniper St., died Thursday, Dec. 28, 1995, at a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Atkinson, a homemaker, was born in Wanchese, N.C. She was the daughter of the late McCallister and Lucetta Daniels Montague and the wife of Willard Thomas Atkinson of the home.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Edith ``Ede'' Daniels of Wanchese; two sons, Charles Etheridge and Rex Etheridge, also of Wanchese; a special friend, Evelyn Osborne; two sisters, Bright Evans of Manteo, N.C., and Rae Davis of Wanchese; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, 1995, in Bethany United Methodist Church. Burial will take place in the Cudworth Cemetery in Wanchese. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo. The family will meet at the home of her daughter, Edith Daniels, in Wanchese.
