Sarah Myers Fanney, 73, of the first block of Holland Drive, died Dec. 28, 1995, in Obici Hospital.
Mrs. Fanney, a retired schoolteacher, worked for the Isle of Wight County School System. She was a native of Shirleysburg, Pa., and a member of Colosse Baptist Church, Windsor.
Survivors include her husband, J. Mills Fanney Jr.; a daughter, Elisabeth Hildebrand Fuller of Windsor; a son-in-law, Stephen Fuller; two stepsons, Roger B. Fanney, Joseph M. Stone and daughter-in-law, Sharon Stone, both of Suffolk; a stepdaughter, Bonnie Ahara of Honolulu, Hawaii; a brother, Eugene Myers of Beaver, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Anne Marie Fuller, Ashley Colleen Fuller, Jonathan Stone. She was the daughter of the late Cloyd B. Myers and Grace Clark Myers.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Jarvis Hearn. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the residence. Memorials may be made to Windsor Rescue Squad, Windsor, Va. 23487.
