Sarah Martin Leonard, 89, of the 9600 block of Wells Parkway, died Dec. 28, 1995, in her residence.
She was a retired registered nurse and a 1928 graduate of St. Vincent DePaul School of Nursing. She was a native of Penfield, Ga., and was the widow of Henry Lawrence Leonard. She was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and Pinewell Garden Club.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert H. Leonard and Kim Leonard; grandson, Robert L. Leonard of Norfolk; three nieces, Ernestine Barr, Betty Cutaran, Dell Carney; and numerous beloved great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by Dr. David Clay in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Infant Home.
