Betty B. Nosay, 88, of the 900 block of Princess Anne Road, died Dec. 29, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
She was retired from Kellam High School cafeteria and Murden's Drug Store, London Bridge. She was a native of Princess Anne County, Va., and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she had taught Sunday school.
She is survived by two daughters, Inez E. Lopez of Merritt Island, Fla., and Winifred N. Brown of Virginia Beach; three sons, Walter I. Nosay, William Leonard Nosay, and Howard W. Nosay, all of Virginia Beach; a sister, Elva Malbone of Virginia Beach; a brother, Ray Bonney of Elizabeth City, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Joseph Brewer in Oak Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Oak Grove Baptist Church Building Fund. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
