Two iron workers fasten into place a 104-ton truss Friday morning
for the stage of the Virginia Beach Amphitheater at the construction
site near Princess Anne Park. The 206-foot- long steel beam is one
of two that will help support the main roof over the seating area
for the outdoor arena, which is scheduled to open in April. The work
was done by C.P. Buckner Steel Erection Inc. of Graham, N.C.
