CHANNEL ADDED

Cablevision announced Friday that the Arts and Entertainment Network will be added to the cable system's offerings in Currituck Sunday.

The A&E offering will replace WAVY-TV 10.

Regional manager William R. Barbour said the news channel insisted on dropping off the system unless it was paid.

``We are glad to be able to replace WAVY with the popular program that the Arts and Entertainment Network provides.''

He said A&E will be added soon to the offerings in Camden County.
