Residential burglary, 2500 block of Gilmerton Road. Missing: book of checks. Dec. 6.

Grand larceny, 3100 block of Kenelm Drive. Missing: 1987 Cadillac, tan, license ZTU-2185. Dec. 6.

Grand larceny, 900 Liberty St., Texaco. Missing: two 12-packs of Budweiser and one 12-pack of Schlitz. Dec. 7.

Armed robbery, 900 block of N. George Washington Highway, Miller Mart. A male entered the store twice asking for change. A third time, he ordered two hot dogs. The fourth time he entered the store, the suspects appeared to be armed and said ``This is a robbery.'' Description of suspect: black male, 40s, 5-feet-5-inches, 150 pounds, wore a green coat and a burgundy hat. Dec. 8.

Armed robbery, 200 block of N. George Washington Highway, Sentry Food Mart. A man entered the store and asked for change. While the register was open, the suspect pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money. Description of suspect: black male, 5-feet-11-inches, 150 pounds, wore black clothes and hat. Dec. 10.

Grand larceny, 2700 block of Martha Drive. Missing: Cobra 40-channel citizens band radio. Dec. 8 or 9.

Commercial burglary, 400 block of N. Dominion Highway, Higgerson Buchanan. Missing: radio and a flash light. Between Dec. 9 and 11.

Armed robbery, Portland and Fitchett streets. While walking, the victim was approached by two armed men who demanding that the victim give them his pigskin coat. Description of suspects: No. 1, black male, 5-feet-5-inches. No. 2, black male, 5-feet-8-inches. One was wearing a brown coat and dark pants. Dec. 9.

Grand larceny, 2000 block of S. Military Highway. Missing: compact disc player, two speakers, 15 compact discs and a Mikita drill. Dec. 4 or 5.

Grand larceny, 300 St. Luke's Church Road. Missing: cellular phone and a plate of food. Dec. 6.

Commercial burglary, 700 block of Gulfwind Drive, Virginia Home Concepts. Missing: GE dishwasher, ceiling fan and a dining room light fixture. Dec. 6 or 7.

Armed robbery, 1100 block of Volvo Parkway, Unimart. The woman had just entered her car when two men approached her. One put a gun to her head and said, ``Give it to me,'' then took the bag containing the bank deposit. One suspect wore a black ski mask and a baseball cap with a red letter A. Both suspects were black.

Armed robbery, 200 block of Ridgecrest Place. Four men entered the apartment. After forcing the five occupants to lie on the floor, the suspects went through the victims' pockets. After beating the victims, the suspects locked them in a closet. Description of suspects: No. 1, black male, 18, 5-feet-9-inches, 210 pounds, armed with a .25 caliber pistol. No. 2, black male, 19, 6-feet-2-inches, 150 pounds, with a large mark on his right cheek. No. 3, black male, 6-feet-3-inches, 190 pounds, had 3-inch dreadlocks and a small goatee, wore camouflage clothes and boots and was armed with a revolver. No. 4, black male, 5-feet-11-inches, 180 pounds, 3-inch dreadlocks, clean shaven and a gold tooth. Dec. 6.

Grand larceny, 1900 block of S. Military Highway, Phar-Mor. Cash was removed from a wallet left at a cash register. Nov. 25.

WESTERN BRANCH BOROUGH

(Suburban area west of Portsmouth)

Armed robbery, 3100 block of Western Branch Blvd., Papa John's. Two men wearing ski masks made restaurant occupants lie down on the floor. Then one suspect put a sawed-off shotgun to the head of an employee and demanded money. When employees could not open the safe, the suspects left with money from the cash drawer. Description of suspects: No. 1, black male, 20s, 5-feet-8-inches, 150 pounds, wore dark jeans and a blue sweat shirt. No. 2, black male, 20s, 5-feet-8-inches, 140 pounds, wore dark clothing. Dec. 2.

Grand larceny, 4000 block of Belvedere Drive. Missing: wreath and a flood light. Dec. 7.

Grand larceny, 3300 block of Taylor Road, Revco. Missing: Oil of Olay products. Dec. 6.

Armed robbery, 4300 block of Portsmouth Blvd., Sally's Beauty Supply. After the suspect laid some items on the counter, he displayed a knife and demanded money. Description of suspect. black male, 30s, 6-feet, 200 pounds, wore a gray sweat shirt and blue work pants. Dec. 8.

Residential burglary, 2400 block of Watermill Grove. Missing: video cassette recorder, gold necklace and bracelet. Dec. 7.

Residential burglary, 4000 block of Holly Cove Drive. Nothing reported missing. Dec. 7.

Armed robbery, 4100 block of Prindle Court. Two men grabbed the female victim, forced her to the ground and demanded money. When they learned she had no cash, they took her book bag and text books. Dec. 12.
