CRIME LINE

Suffolk Detective R.L. Ross is asking for help to find the persons responsible for the grand larceny of tires and rims.

On Nov. 21, a 1991 white Hyundai sports coupe was parked in the 1100 block of Elm Street in Suffolk. During the night, unknown persons broke the rear passenger window and entered the car to remove tools. The thieves then used the tools to remove all four tires and chrome rims.

During the past several weeks, there have been a number of larcenies of stereo equipment, tires and vehicle accessories.

If you have any information concerning these thefts, call Suffolk Crime Line at 539-1222. Information leading to an arrest may bring a cash reward of up to $1,000.
