Cutlines for a photograph accompanying Olde Towne Journal in
October contained several errors:
The portrait of the soldier in the story was not Fred
Shufflebarger. It was his brother, Dabney.
The uniform shown in the photograph did not belong to Fred
Shufflebarger but to Charles Cosby, his brother-in-law.
The Shufflebargers were the second owners of the house, not the
original owners.
