C. Aubrey Taylor, 80, of 507 24th St., died Thursday, Dec. 28, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
A native of Brandy Station, Va., he was the husband of Christine Alston Taylor. He retired in 1977 after 35 years as a club manager, having been manager of the Princess Anne Country Club, Cape Colony Club, Breakers Hotel, and Oceana Officers Club. He was a past president of Club Managers Association of America, Tidewater Chapter, and member of Virginia Beach Sports Club.
In addition to his wife Christine, he is survived by two sons, Chris Taylor of Indianapolis, and William Taylor of Zuni, Va.; brother, Horace Taylor of Little Rock, Ark.; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, by Dr. Paul C. Bailey. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery, in Culpeper, Va. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday from 4 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the American Heart Association, Tidewater Council, 360 Southport Circle, Virginia Beach, 23452.
