Walter L. Holloway, of the 1700 block of Greenleaf Drive, died Dec. 25, 1995, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Norfolk and was Baptist. He was a contract paver with a construction company.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Holloway; three daughters, Cassandra and Tabitha Holloway of Norfolk and Glyndora Edwards of Norfolk; two sons, Joseph Edwards and Travis Holloway of Norfolk; one sister, Gloria Holloway Bray of New York City; four brothers, Roland Holloway Jr. of Hampton, Milton Lee Holloway and Roosevelt Holloway of Norfolk and Shelton Phillips of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren; one aunt; 33 nieces and nephews; several uncles; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Lena Barrington Holloway Phillips and Roland Lee Holloway.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Metropolitan Funeral Service by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. Friends will assemble with the family at 1783 Greenleaf Drive, Norfolk, Tuesday at 10 a.m. for the procession.
