Lizzie Mae ``Liz'' Colbert, 62, of the 900 block of Nelson St., died Dec. 27, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was a retired packer for Coffee and Tea Co., and was a native of Norfolk. She was a member of First Baptist Church Campostella, where she was a pastor's aide, member of the Missionary Society and attended Sunday school.
Survivors include one daughter, Antionette Michelle Colbert of Norfolk; four sisters, Deloris Clemons of Norfolk, Mary M. Colbert and Barbara J. Colbert, both of Camden, N.J., and Claudette Cooney of Buffalo, N.Y.; two brothers, Arthur L. Colbert of Silver Springs, Md., and Dudley Colbert Jr. of Virginia Beach; one grandchild, Nicole Lewis of Norfolk; an aunt, Gertrude Corbett of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church Campostella by the Rev. Harold Cason. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Family and friends will assemble at 909 Nelson St., Norfolk, at noon for the procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is in charge.
