Albert Acie ``Ace'' Williams Sr., 86, of the 2800 block of Stanhope Ave., a self-employed cabinet maker for more than 20 years, died Dec. 29, 1995, in Sentara Bayside Hospital.
Mr. Williams was born in North Carolina and was the widower of Perrye Williams. He was a member and former trustee of St. Paul's CME Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Theresa Williams of Norfolk; three sons, Adeyemi Oyeilumi of Virginia Beach, Reginald A. Williams of Norfolk and Albert A. Williams Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sisters, Mattie Walton of Philadelphia and Alice Richardson of New Haven, Conn.; a brother, Tillman Williams of Philadelphia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's CME Church by the Rev. Theodore R. McKenny. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. A wake will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hale Funeral Home. Family and friends will assemble at the home at 10 a.m. for the processional to the church.
