JAMES R. DOTY

James Richard ``Rick'' Doty, 52, of the 4800 block of Kennebeck Ave., died Dec. 30, 1995.

He was a native of Los Angeles and was a restaurant manager. He was also retired from the U.S. Navy with 13 years of service. He was a member of the International Order of Foresters, VFW Post (NU)3160; American Legion Post (NU)327; and Eagles Club. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred H. Doty; one daughter, Mary Christine Doty of the home; three sons, James Christopher Doty and his wife, Karen, of Culpeper, Philip Mathew Doty and his wife, Marlene, of Bealton, Va., and James Richard Doty Jr. of the home; and six grandchildren.

The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
