DAVID R. BALDWIN

David Russell Baldwin, 53, of the 1100 block of Shore Road, died Jan. 1, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mr. Baldwin, a native of Roseville, Mich., was the owner of Chesapeake Heating and Air Conditioning. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He was a veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Stumpy Lake Men's Golf Association, and former member of G.W.R.R.A.

Survivors include his wife, Donna M. Baldwin; his mother, Evelyn Singer Baldwin of Fernley, Nev.; three daughters, Lynn Newson of Portsmouth, Sherry Savage and her husband, Guy, of Suffolk, Stephanie Baldwin of Portsmouth; two sisters; three brothers; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Due to his wishes Mr. Baldwin will be cremated following the funeral on Thursday. The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
