Helen Hobeck Taylor, 78, of Marion Manor, died Jan. 1, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Taylor, the widow of Paul O. Taylor Jr., was a native of Norfolk and life long resident of the area. She was a daughter of the late John and Sue Hobeck. She was a very active member of Knox Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Ocean View Chapter Order of Easter Star, and Little Creek Womens Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Geneil T. Meyer of Virginia Beach; a son, Paul O. Taylor III of Virginia Beach; and three grandchildren, Dale A. Meyer Jr., Paul Edward Taylor and Douglas Taylor, all of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
