By coincidence, I watched a women's college-basketball game shortly after reading ``Nation's military should be all-male'' (letter, Dec. 15). If the military wants fierce, in-shape, controlled, team-oriented soldiers, it would be better off selecting these women. Any of these women could whip my butt!
Isn't that the idea of ``military'': to select those who can best do the job regardless of race or sex? That's how I choose my employees. That should be how the military chooses its soldiers.
