Estelle Green Williams, 103, of the 7000 block of Granby St., left her earthly home to be with God on Jan. 1, 1996, in the Sentara Nursing Center, Norfolk.
Mrs. Williams, a native of Hampton, was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She served on the Deaconess board and the Missionary Circle. She was also a member of the United Order of Tents Marion (NU)33.
She is survived by a son, Ernest Williams of Norfolk; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces; three nephews; and a host of relatives and friends. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by two daughters, Ellen Whichard and Corrine Williams, both of Norfolk, and three sons, James and Leroy Williams, both of New York, and Clinton Williams of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Keith S. Cook. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 7006 Granby St. Arrangements were made by Riddick Funeral Service.
