Jennie Sue Cutchins Benson, 74, of 426 King St., died Jan. 2, 1996, in her home.
Mrs. Benson was a native of Southampton County and was the widow of Len Rubert Benson Sr. She was a Protestant.
Survivors include a daughter, Josephine B. Poe of Charleston, S.C.; son, Len R. Benson Jr. of Carrsville, Va.; two sisters, Clara Mae Benson of Carrsville, and Ann Bess of Newsoms, Va.; four brothers, Paul Cutchins of Virginia Beach, James Cutchins of Smithfield, N.C., Raleigh ``Punk'' Cutchins and Robert L. Cutchins Sr., both of Franklin. She was predeceased by a son, Earl Benson.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Rob Taylor and Mr. Jim Poe. The burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
