Frances C. Neeson, 71, of the 4800 block of Winthrop St., died Jan. 2, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a loving wife and mother and was a native of Marionville, Va. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk where she belonged to the Christian Women's Club. She was past president of the Coleman Place Grammar School P.T.A.; member of the P.T.O. for Eastern Academy; member of Rebel Rousers Athletic Booster Club; Tidewatchers Booster Club; and served as Booster Club treasurer for 12 years. She was a lifetime member of the P.T.A.
She is survived by her husband, Charles C. Neeson Sr.; two daughters, Nancy Jean Martino of Montgomery, Ala., Robin N. Bartlett of Chesapeake; son, Charles C. Neeson Jr. of Norfolk; brother, the Rev. Stratton R. Colonna of Crestview, Fla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial is in Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery, Marionville, Va., Eastern Shore. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
