Ernest C. Blowe
NORFOLK - Ernest Charles Blowe, of the 1700 block of East Indian River Road, died Dec. 31, 1995, in his residence.
He was a native of Norfolk and a member of Upper Room Gospel Pencostal Church, Norfolk.
He is survived by his wife, Ivanett Blowe of Newark, N.J.; four daughters, Indian Rechette Smith of New Jersey, Ivanett Dudley of New Jersey, Ernestine Blowe of Herndon, Va., Tammy Blowe of Virginia Beach; son, Ernest Blowe Jr. of Chesapeake; three sisters, Jean Duplessis of Norfolk, Helen Jones of Chesapeake, Janet Delmar of Virginia Beach; brother, Joseph Blowe of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Anthony Moses in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Chapel. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing Thursday at 3 p.m. The family will assemble at the residence at noon for the procession.
