We pay and pay, but the U.S. Postal Service doesn't come through.
I paid $7.90 for priority service on Dec. 19 to Indiana after being assured by a postmistress about delivery.
I had planned to drive to a United Parcel Service station because I know ``UPS gets it through.'' The postmistress said, ``We do too.''
The package was delivered Dec. 26.
A daughter in Denver on Dec. 19 paid $3 for four cards in a packet - priority - also delivered Dec. 26.
Next year it's UPS all the way.
