Imogene Marshall Dixon, 71, of 1073 Carolina Road, died Jan. 2, 1996.
A native of Windsor, she was a daughter of the late William W. and Susan E. Taylor Marshall. Mrs. Dixon was a Methodist and a former member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda D. Shurger of Slidell, La.; three sisters, Blanche S. Johnson of Suffolk, Lillie M. Brown of Madison, N.C., Mary M. Blackburn of Portsmouth; a brother, William M. Marshall of Elm City, N.C.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. W. A. Paramore Jr. The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today.
