Luther Fuller, 80, of the 100 block of N. Fairview Circle, died Jan. 3, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Fuller, a retired electrician from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, was a retired foreman for Virginia State Highway Department. He was a native of Grundy, Va., and a member of Ashbury United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Knights of Pythias Lodge 16 in Deep Creek. He was a 50-year member of Lodge 16, and Bide-A-Wee Golf Course. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Pearl Harbor survivor.
Survivors include his wife, Frances E. Fuller; two daughters, Erleen Estes of Rockledge, Fla., and Cheryl Mosley of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Perry Fuller of Vansant, Va.; and two grandchildren, Christina Mosley and David Estes.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Milford Rollins. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Memorial donations may be made to Ashbury United Methodist Church.
