Thomas Carey Bunch, 84, of 111 Morris Circle, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 1996, in the Chowan Hospital.
A native of Gates County, Mr. Bunch was born on Dec. 9, 1911, to the late James Thomas and Julia Hollowell Bunch. He was the husband of Mrs. Bessie Nixon Bunch. Mr. Bunch was a member of the Rocky Hock Baptist Church and a retired farmer and truck driver.
Surviving other than his wife are two daughters, Betty B. Bass of Dallas, Texas, and Kay B. Evans of Edenton; a brother, Thurman Bunch of Gates, N.C.; a granddaughter, Robin Evans of Edenton; three grandsons, Wade Bass of Plano, Texas, Ryan Bass of Southfield, Mich., and Tony Evans of Edenton.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Rocky Hock Baptist Church by the Rev. Ron Cava. Burial will follow in the Beaver Hill Cemetery. Evans Funeral Home, Edenton, is in charge of the arrangements.
