Joseph ``Joey'' Thomas Stommel, 34, a native and former resident of Norfolk, died Dec. 25, 1995.
Joey's memberships include the Catholic Church and the Handicapped Sportsman's Association of Northeast Florida.
He is survived by his parents, Harvey James Stommel and Rose Marie Nicholson Stommel; three brothers, Jeff Stommel, John Stommel, and Robert Stommel; three sisters, Sherry Raker, Patricia Blythe and Michelle Short; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 1995, in St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Orange Park, Fla., with Monsignor Vincent Haut officiating. Arrangements by Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Fla.
