Norfolk's Division of Waste Management will be collecting Christmas trees for recycling through Jan. 19. The trees will be collected curbside on regularly scheduled yard waste collection days.
All manmade materials must be removed and the tree placed curbside no earlier than 7 p.m. the night before scheduled collection and no later than 7 a.m. on collection day. Trees also may be dropped off at the Little Creek Recycling Center, located behind Kmart near Sewells Point Road on Mondays through Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. through Jan. 19.
