Nealy Powell Royall Johnson, 86, of 115 Strickland Drive, died Jan. 3, 1996.
Surviving are her husband, Halle Vernon Johnson of Chesapeake and Smithfield; stepsons, Bill N. Royall of Smithfield and Ervin Ray Johnson of Portsmouth; stepdaughters, Verna J. Russ of Conyers, Ga. and Phyllis J. Ertel of Salem, Va.; brother, Hubert E. Powell of Morven, N.C.; half-brothers, Spencer E. Powell Jr. and Donnie R. Powell of Smithfield, Charles G. Powell of Lancaster, Calif.; sisters, Margaret P. Lee of Smithfield, Peggy P. Seamon of Anaheim, Calif., and Bonnie P. Hicks of Farmville, N.C.
A funeral service will be held todayat 11 a.m. in the First Pentacostal Church in Smithfield. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Underwood Funeral Home in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Building Fund of the First Pentacostal Holiness Church 1000 Wilson's Mills Road, Smithfield, N.C. 27577.
