Cecil Proffit, producer of AutoRama, will have his 5/8-scale,

motorcycle-powered replica of a 1940 Ford race car at the 22nd

annual AutoRama, Jan.12 - 14, at the Virginia Beach Pavilion. The

show will display a mix of 130 top street rods, antiques, classics,

customs, 4X4s, sports cars and race cars.

Danny Crawford will show his classic hot rod, a 1934 three-window

Ford coupe with a chopped top that is equipped with late-model

Mustang parts.

Clint Sample just completed the custom work on his 1949 Mercury. He

cjopped the top, Frenched the headlights and taillights and removed

door handles.

Vorain, a jet-powered dragster that transforms into a robot standing

30 feet tall, will be at AutoRama.
