GLADYS WILLIAMS

Gladys Williams, 71, of the 900 block of Bells Mill Road, died Jan. 3, 1996.

She was a native of Norfolk County and was a member of Lees Chapel AME Church. She was retired and a member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her daughter, Velda Creekmore of Chesapeake; one son, Lavon Creekmore of Greenville, S.C.; three sisters, Doris Sykes and Rosetta Johnson, both of Chesapeake, and Naomi Lassiter of Portsmouth; one brother, Shelton Johnson of Chesapeake; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Lees Chapel AME Church by the Rev. Cross. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Pretlow and Sons' Funeral Home is in charge.
