THE WAY this musical's going, ``Forever Plaid'' could become ``Forever Played.''
By popular demand, Founders Inn Dinner Theater is reviving this nostalgic musical, which features well-dressed guys singing '50s pop songs in four-part harmonies.
The award-winning production first ran last year. It is being restaged for one long weekend only: Thursday through Sunday at 8 p.m., with dinner seating at 6:30 p.m. Theater only is $22; with dinner, $35.50.
Matinee performances, with no meal option, are at 11 a.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $22.
Since it opened off-Broadway in 1985, ``Forever Plaid'' has broken attendance records all over the country. The show revolves around a quartet who were killed in a car wreck but who are posthumously reunited on stage for a one-time gig.
More than a story, the music's the thing. Here's a partial playlist: ``Love is a Many Splendored Thing,'' ``Three Coins in the Fountain,'' ``Heart and Soul,'' ``Shangri-La,'' ``Catch a Falling Star,'' and ``Moments to Remember.''
