W.L. MCLAUGHLIN

Capt. W.L. ``Bill'' McLaughlin, 64, a former resident of Virginia Beach and Carova, N.C., died on Jan. 5, 1996.

Mr. McLaughlin was a retired ironworker of Ironworker's Local 79, Norfolk.

Survivors include his wife, Dee McLaughlin; three sons, William L. ``Bill'' McLaughlin of Norfolk, Patrick McLaughlin of Florida, and John McLaughlin of Florida; three daughters, Irene Williams of Moyock, N.C., Donna Payne of Knotts Island, N.C., and Valerie Collins of S.C.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ted McLaughlin of Virginia Beach, Jack McLaughlin and Roy Bolton of Maine; three sisters, Mary Lou Luber of Beaver Falls, Pa., Peggy Mayo of Virginia Beach, and Loretta Benninghove of Marshall, Va.

The family will receive visitors at the home of Irene Williams, 34 South St. North Point, Moyock, N.C., Saturday, Jan. 13, 1996, form 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to M.A.D.D., 999 Waterside Drive, Norfolk, Va.
