Police are asking public assistance in solving these cases:
CHESAPEAKE
Douglas Richard Manning Jr., 26, is wanted on a charge of violating probation.
Manning is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 135 pounds. He has light brown hair and blue eyes. He is known to frequent the South Norfolk area.
NORFOLK
On Nov. 15, just after 8 a.m., the First Virginia Bank branch in the 1000 block of E. Brambleton Ave. was robbed.
As an employee arrived for work, he was forced into the bank by two gunmen.
Another employee already in the bank was locked in a closet. The two robbers were last seen running from the bank north on Roswell Avenue.
The first suspect is described as black, in his 20s, 6 feet tall and 160 pounds with a dark complexion. He was wearing a white sweater and dark pants, and he carried a large blue bag.
The second suspect is described as black, in his 20s, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 160 pounds. He wore a blue hooded jacket and black pants.
On Dec. 15, at 8 p.m., a 31-year-old Norfolk woman was followed by a man as she went to her apartment in the 1300 block of Colonial Ave. The man, armed with a box cutter blade, robbed and assaulted her.
The suspect is described as black, in his 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 165 pounds. He wore a dark green hat with ear flaps, an olive green field jacket and dark pants.
HAMPTON
On Dec. 13, at 10:40 p.m., a man armed with a handgun entered the Bojangles Restaurant in the 1500 block of Briarfield Road and jumped the counter. He forced several employees into a freezer and then, while holding an employee at gunpoint, stole money from the register and safe.
Before he fled, he disabled the telephone.
The suspect is described as black, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a heavy build. He wore a green, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black scarf that covered his face.
SUFFOLK
On Dec. 30, burglars broke into a home in the 100 block of N. Capitol St. by forcing open a window. The thieves took two Zenith color televisions - 21 and 29 inches; a Zenith VCR; three Panasonic radios; and some crystal, lamps, clothing and bedding.
